Just got back in from the suburbs. It's getting pretty cold out there now with a bit of fog once out of London. I don't think my fuel economy will be much good on this tankful I just love those high revs with the exhaust shouting, on and off the throttle with instant pull.
Super duper.

Very nice. Do you need spacers for the front wheel or is it a direct fitment?Jazzscot wrote:Got my wheels back from the powdercoat man.

Racing bobbins for my Kern-Stabi paddock stand.
A piece of stainless steel 40 x 15 x 5 mm with a long nut ISO M6 welded on it, fit on the end of the swing arm.

I've already posted a picture of Carl, sitting in the sun & drinking coffee, well smoking a tab IIRC, so that wont be necessary thanks Marty...bigspanishmarty wrote:cleaned and sprayed my spare vtr oil cooler, can you guess the colour????

What's your back tire thinking??
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Installed lighter flywheel that was cut below Roger spec's, but still within reason. Test rode it earlier today, wooooow.... what a deference, the bike accelerating much better and got to be a little more careful coming out of turns with full throttle, with the CBR1000RR lighter front and lower gearing the front goes up very easy just by twisting the throttle That is most definitely one of the best mod's for the buck.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Started to retro fit the sp1 oil cooler today .
I'm using cbr600fl 1990 oil lines as they have the correct fitting where it meets the oil cooler .
So I removed the fittings from some spare vtr oil lines
As the cbr oil lines are a lot longer than the vtr I can cut them down to size once fitted
Next up is to make a little hanging bracket for the oil cooler to bolt onto the frame
Watch this space !
