Hi everyone, my name is Nat and I am the proud owner of a 1997 firestorm in yellow and what a bike it is love it! I live in Coventry for my sins after getting caught up in the military downsize 2 years ago I was in the RAF for 12 years as an aircraft engineer but the RAF paid for my licence as a way of saying thanks and here i am joining your forum.

it's a little quiet over the winter here but once the spring comes you will love it

Hi Nat,welcome to the club. Having left the RAF what are you up to now? You are in a well represented area for VTR owners so if you need a hand with anything you should be ok. Have the CCT's and reg/rec been sorted on your bike?

Welcome to the club Nat, you are not far from me so might see you out and about.

As others have said you need to do a quick fix on the cam tensioner then the bikes are fairly problem free... and if you need any tools or advice on the bike send me a PM. happy to help another owner
