Most Hondas from late 90s - Blackbird, Hornet etc.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Alright, I've finally logged on. Been busy....

Actually, almost any Honda motor for a bigger cc bike will do, because you can disassemble the old motor and use the end caps off one with a similar centre section, such as an Sp1 or 2 motor....
Just make sure the shims leave you with the correct end float. Haynes should tell you what that is.

But is it just the burnt out cable attachment bolt that is causing you to look for a new one?
If so, it's simple to strip and cut a large-headed bolt to fit. Once apart you'll see what I mean.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

why use a different one? ive got a good spare if you want it.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

If one's available to collect locally and at the right price it gets you back on the road quicker than waiting for the correct one's auction to end.
