Cricky I'd love to hear them without the db killers! Mine are straight through blue flames and sound the same as yours (noise wise)

Decided I might as well keep going, so just fitted the Gilles Variobars.

Would post pics but Photobucket is playing up and I can't get in.

Not a huge difference at the moment. The way I've set them they angle back at a similiar angle but don't angle downwards. Everything clears, just about!

Very nice bit of kit, more a work of art really.

Flippin heck the weather was bad when I took bike to Pipe Werx in Lancs on Tues eve, then picked it up Weds eve, faced with more hail and rain enroute to Anglesey!! Worth it, but bike was rotten!

I have put a new bulb in the clocks, what a bloody carry on that was but a satisfactory outcome made it worth it, also gave me the chance to clean up around that area.
Painted Fork lowers why weather was warm, look much better now but I've slipped up really as whilst their out i think i might as well get them serviced and get some springs fitted (any recommendations or service shops welcome). Wigan area.
I am considering a new shock but wonder if anyone can help me with my dilemma ? I am thinking of a Maxton, Nitron or similar, or should i just get the original serviced and re sprung ?
Maxtons are big bucks, Nitron reasonable, and a re spring / service the cheapest option. the spring is to suit my medium / spirited pace road riding only and I'm a pie over 16 stone, again experiences welcome.
Cheers in anticipation.

Nitron shocks are a good buy at £350 sprung to your weight :-)
Linear springs are best front and back .
I used mct suspension for my front springsand found them very helpful but someone on here had a bad time with them .
7.5w oil in the forks .

Ahh I need a new bulb in mine- left hand side is dark now!

I got a Hyper Pro front spring set and rear spring at bike show last year-think £200 then a bit to get local mech to fit. Main diff is on fronts tbh! Used Calpro to supply springs sets, they in Coventry but deliver. Rear spring standard colour is purple(nope) so they do alt colour of black, to order. Took 4 weeks for delivery as it came from Belgium or somewhere! Enjoy! Which bulb did you need in instruments?
