Now that is a quality response. However, I will not rise to it, seeing as you ride an inferior coloured bike !!

Nice one Kev, like it !!

Managed to take her out for a decent run today to test last weeks mods out (tps set, stick coils installed an k&n filter)

It is like a totally different bike. Very responsive, loads of grunt and pulls like a train.

There is only one wee fly in the ointment though, it has a very slight flat spot between 3000-3500 revs. Im guessing this down to the k&n and it running slightly lean low down. I will try it back with the stock filter and see if it makes a difference.

If it does I might have a K&N up for sale soon as I cant be arsed playing about with jetting at the moment.

up the slow jets to 48s :)

Today I've have managed to get the carbs set up the best I can with no flat spots and no lean surges .
185 main jets.
48s slow jets.
4th clip down on the needle + washer .
1.5 turns out on the mixture screw .
Tps 500 ohm .
It now pull clean to the red line and cruises smooth .
its a massive improvement compared to before .
I did notice it don't pop and bang as much on deceleration .
Also no air box coughs .
I'm very happy with it now .

What traffic? There wasn't anyone on the roads, some international netball match on TV or something.
