Ohhhh...also fitted the Scottoiler I bought from bluestoesonnose yesterday and realised that I didnt have a t-piece I needed to complete the install.

What size is the vacuum hose that goes from the tank to the rear carb? 4mm??? I'll pick up a t-piece from somewhere and get snipping

Honestly, how hard can it be to book an MoT... Found two garages really near, so I thought I'd be sorted.
First one has their tester away for two days... Next!
Second one can't do any MoTs because they got flooded and the equipment got broken... I don't remember any equipment requirements for the bike MoT... Well it has been a few years! Maybe their computer got waterlogged or something...

Oh well, back to the old faithful old boy 7 miles away then... Luckily he's still alive and I'm booked in for 9:15 tomorrow morning. That's gonna be a fun run down the A127 at the butt end of rush hour... Lets see if I can still remember what to do with those slow tin box mobile chicanes... :biggrin

Swift's in Laindon. Proper old boy. Very thorough *gulp*. My old man takes his AJS down there and the guy actually knows how to start it, so he knows his stuff.
The original two options were so close to my house that I would probably still be on choke when I got there, maybe next time, but after the long lay up it'll be good to get a really thorough check over.
