what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today i fitted Yoshimura R&D System i got a few week back, can now clean up and list those Scorpion hi mounts this week
Thanks again Carl for the Header Gaskets
Cans and pipework went on very well, are very well made and fit and finish is superb with no blowing at the joins etc
I think they have the SP1/2 Style up swept look, i like them, they are not high mount and they are not normal position either

It's an optical illusion mate its clear no rubs or runs, from the other side when viewed there is a good amount of clearance thankfullySnoogle wrote:Is your chain touching the pipe in this pic?seb421 wrote:

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Looks great... I love how you blur the pics of the bike's VRN, but leave the car to get rung!
Gives me something to put on my motor next time I fill up with fuel!
Today I have put the front end back together again after cleaning all those hard to reach bits. Then found the side light wasn't working. Thought about taking the plastic off again, but as someone says, wombles to that, so just pulled the clocks off instead. Much easier.
Ended up with the sidelight in bits, extracted the pins, cleaned them up, bit of grease, and back together again. Now it works.
Checked out the voltages from my standard R/R - Neighbours must have loved me idling it, then running it at various revs to get the figures... They should count themselves lucky I only have standard cans!
Removed original R/R and mounted the Yamaha R/R, but have yet to wire it up.

They look wombles awesome Seb, what do they sound like. And the angle is perfect just as it should be. How's it running with the piper filter, those yoshis may alter things there as well.

They are loud, but different to other loud cans i've herd these are a strong thumping noise, at idle they aint to bad to be honest above 2.5 - 3 k they really wake up by far the best sounding cans ive ove owned, Blueflame, Scorpions, Standards, Unknown mega mega loud race can
