Scotland tour is go! Routes planned and hotels/pubs booked for the most part hope the weather picks up a bit though, still cold here. These are the routes we have planned, hope the links work.

31 May Hwest-Kendal via Horseshoe Pass in North Wales http://g.co/maps/g8zdv Ponderosa Cafe on HShoe Pass is a biker cafe worth visiting and should be lunchtime ish when we get there.
01 Jun Kendal- Fort William via Hardknott Pass http://g.co/maps/kxe2z there's an easy way to detour missing out the Hardknott Pass if needs be, difficult to avoid motorways for this part though.
02 Jun F.Will - Inverness(ish) Via Applecross http://g.co/maps/77c4f awesome day out, real highlands stuff, easy bypass up the Loch's direct to Inverness if needs be.
03 Inver - Edinburgh http://g.co/maps/x9ftz a minor detour through the Cairngorms should be quality. More direct route follows the A9 south
04 Edin- Lake district http://g.co/maps/8drvs nice direct easy route
05 Lakes - H`west (and the arms of a loving woman- I`ll go home the following day) go the same way we came but probably through mid Wales, Welshpool Newtown way for a change
