moving house

Post by boz »

Mrs Boz, the Boz sprogs and myself are upping sticks soon. The lure of the Scottish glens has proved too much. We are going to rent a lovely cottage on a 300 acre estate near a place called Fern (yeah I know, me neither)! Its in Angus anyway and its bloody gorgeous. Best still, the surrounding roads are now Storm country. Went out there today for a blast and it was the best ever....lots of varied twisties and clean roads considering its agricultural country. It was just perfect, got the bike out of shape once or twice but a wee blip on the throttle made everything right. Was quick through the gears and sharp on the brakes for wildlife (teenage cagers). You could hear my Storm echo through the glens. Damn this is a bloody good all round bike. Will post some pics of the old girl very soon (the bike not Mrs Boz).

Anyone got a dream place they's like to move to......and why aint you doing it then?

Class idea fella. The new gaff has got a double garage with power. Tons of local B and B's at reasonable prices. One rule though, none of this red storm the is fastest tosh on my land
Seriously though, you've inspired me to maybe organise one if I can get enough Stormers together from my neck of the woods....although ones from further afield can pitch a tent in the back garden.

My mum was born in Forfar so I know Angus quite well.

I would defo be up for that as well. I like the sound of that. And if we can camp we will have to get a few wee drams in   I could also visit some family on the way home via Edinborough and Sterling maybe.

Well today I woke up to snow then it became windy and the snow fecked off. The sun came out for a while but then it started to rain and hailstone. As I type this the snow is back on.

Who says you cant count on Scottish weather. Always expect the unexpected.
