any of you going to do this charity run for the Royal British Legion http://www.rblr1000.co.uk/ i am hoping to do it with a couple of mates,

There was 5 of us from here done it a couple of years ago, including 1 wife as pillion, and it was great. All other rideouts will suck big time after this. Start as early as you can (to make the most of the daylight), keep the fuel stops short to save time for a couple of decent stops for food and take the northern route. Really, who the fcuk wants to spend a nice day out on the bike riding around the M25 when you could have the whole of Scotland to play on.
