Anyone in Bristol fancy helping me out with my Storm please?

Post by Taz69 »

Hi all,

as per this thread http://www.haymouth.co.uk/phpBB3/viewto ... 90#p165490 I am having issues with my Storm, popping, back firing, just generally running pretty sick at the mo.

I was wondering if there is anyone in Bristol that wouldn't mind popping round to my place and taking a general listen, look over etc, I have a carb balancer etc but as its my 1st attempt and I am not sure where the gauge's should be to start with etc, also a little concerned at all the back firing etc.

There's a cuppa and may even be able to crack out the bacon sandwich'es lol.

I live in the BS10 area close to Filton and not far from Cribbs.

Thanks in advance

Mark

I work in Filton so I'll drop by and have a look with you one night. I'm away for the weekend and then working in London for most of next week so If you can hang on a little longer we'll see if it's a quick fix or not

Hi Mark
Got back in town yesturday but I was too tired to check in. Give me a shout when you're free and we'll work out a time to have a look. I'm back in Bristol for a good bit, actually taking some garden leave next week so I can be pretty flexable.

Any time Bud, you've got my number now
BTW Sorry if I woke the neighbours leaving, but I thought what the Hell  Lets make some noise

Neil. :D
What's all this I hear about you throwing your Firestorm down the road? How are you doing bud? I heard it was a nasty brake and taking it's time to mend.

Yeah was a silly bugger in wales and me and the bike parted company after an arguement over a corner  once I've got a bit more movement and strength back I'll kick its butt and show it who's boss

That's the spirit. I've just read the update you gave Mark on another post, glad to hear it's getting there slowly.
Oh and after taking a little spin around the block on marks bike let me tell you it's like sitting in an armchair compaired to the SP. nice soft seat, high handle bars and loads of leg room. Nearly had a little knap I was so comfy on the way back...You Firestorm boys don't even know you're born
