Royal Wedding

Post by tony.mon »

Well, I'm all in favour........of the extra day off, anyway.

Luckily, I don't have to watch the whole event, as I have a life.
I understand that the Daily Mail will be offering a free life to all readers who save five out of seven vouchers over the next week, so look out for that great offer.

Still, I wish them both well, after all I had a Royal Wedding myself.

Oh, now I remember; that was a Royal stitch-up.
She promised to love, honour, and E-Bay.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I'm going. I'm a tax payer so I'm paying for it so I'm gatecrashing.

Look out for the black Storm on its rear wheel thundering down the aisle!
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

For those of us that are off, my company hasn't recognised the day off at all, not even talked about it, we don't get set holidays, ours are all floating other than 25 & 26 December and the 1 & 2 January. i'll raise a glass to the happy couple tonight...well a bottle of voddy maybe.

i got the day off but due to a job going over yesterday very nearly had to work today....
it is a public holiday though, not an official bank holiday, and at an employer's discretion whether to grant leave.
i happen to work for a top chap and will be enjoying the free day off :)
(assuming Lurch passes it's mot!)

Happy wedding day to Big Willy W and his missus. Hope all goes well for em. I'm not going to say thanks for the day off cos I'm off anyway. And nice to see the Garrison Badge Man looking so well and saying hello to all his cockernee mates down the Bricklayers Arms. Lol

In between cleaning kitchen ceiling and stripping windows my observation is that the both princes look like Gadaffi clones with the amount of braid wrapped round them. William poor lad needs a Waney/Gooch hair transplant pronto. Kate must have partied hard late into the night as her make-up is troweled on to make her look like a Vulcan.
