Close one..

Post by Tat_Man »

..very close.

Out on a bit of a setting up ride today, riding at the speed limit on a familiar road i very nearly met my maker.

Coming over a right hand crest i saw an artic coming towards me..what i wasn't ready for was that he was travelling on my side of the road.

I very nearly binned it, big slide , almost high sided it and a 40 foot tank slapper to halt..

I'm not sure how , but we'd passed each other and i was still upright.
I wobbled my head, turned around and caught up with the wagon.
It turned out to be an extremely apologetic continental driver, who realised he was on the wrong side of the road when he saw me...needless to say i gave him some of my thoughts on his driving :x .

So, a bit shaken...10 minutes to gather my thoughts and i hopped back on.

It had turned out to be a lucky day..

Lucky for me in that i didn't bury myself in the idiots grill,

and lucky for him that he didn't recieve a damn good thrashing.

in a village near me, culcheth,,, theres one T junction i hate... guaranteed someone will pull out.
the same one i ranted about the other week when the guy looked left instead of right and then pulled out on me...
today, exact same thing.
i'd slowed down enough and he crapped himself when he saw me, but i think only cos my bike is white and he thought he'd pulled out on a plod.
no way you can miss my storm lol, and with the headlight on too.
but anyway... get this.... im in the middle of the road while this guy finishes his turn... i courteously waved him on like you might as well carry on now nobhead....
while im there waiting for him to move, another Richard turns in on me coming the other way!!!
saw him coming but had nowhere to go, just cringed as i heard tyres screech :o

stupid bleedin blind ignorant fks, one after the other.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
