That's a big goldfish mate, just under 16lb. Caught it twice last year which raised a few eyebrows as it usually graces the bank once every few years. The other 2 are 31lb 4oz and 29lb from the same lake.
would make more use of a set of butt sliders these days
you should know better. bag up next time.
double bag just to be safe

Yep all carp. The 2 bigger are common carp and the orange is a koi and yes they fight like they are trying to drag you in! The commons in the lake i fish are some right lumps and once hooked they make a full speed run to the centre of the lake, about 100yds, while heading for the bottom, which at times is 42ft deep. It's fun trying to stop them and getting them in the net that's for sure. I've had some big mirror carp out there too, up to 29lb but they just seem to roll over and give in, must be French carp those ones lol This ones just under 20lb

those carp are killing the natural ecosystem balance here in the USA and in Canada in the rivers and lakes that they have invaded. They eat too much and propagate too rapidly compared to the native fish squeezing them out
I havent been fishing in a LONG time, it would be fun!
common and mirror carp are pests in oz also u get fined if you return one to the water and they grow very big there also
but huge shoals that are wiping out the native eco also
