If I remember correctly it was about 1400 Euro (just shy of £900) with all the extra holes cut , stickers and P&P.

Dont get me wrong, its a lot of anyones money but it is well made and sorts the bike out a treat.

must admit i mailed them in italy for extra info, got me a reply this morning with more piccies and price list.....

plain old fibreglass uppers and lowers are £385 Euros, (244.00GBP) which i think is a steal, (especially when pyramid lowers are £199.00GBP)

Bit confused by posting system though, they state that "fast mail", (delivery in approx 6 days is extra £120.00 Euros, what about regular post, (i'm in no rush) hour much is that?????

could well be looking at getting a fairing from them !!!!!!

I got mine Whoooooosh Post - they sent it on the Friday it was here on the Monday!

Make sure you mention my name when ordering! Ok it probably wont be any cheaper but I might get a free thank you sticker or something

Only thing to make sure you do is specify if you want the holes cut - main light, side light and indicators - as I think he only does them if you specifically ask.

Payment will be via bank transfer but its not a problem - did mine over the phone. Sorted!

I've got the fitting instructions if you want me to email them to you.

Cheers

cheers mate, was the fairing dificult to fit, only i work in an office, and hence not particularly technical minded......

still need to finde out how for snail posting, so i'll mail "whatisname" again....

in his mail, he reckoned that he now usually cuts all holes ready, except for indicators (but can do it if you specify), but i think i'd check before ordering anyway...... just now need to convince wifey that she should treat me for xmas !!!!! (+ painting)

To be honest fella, I also work in an office and I dont really get a lot of time to work on the bike (wifey wont let me - that and Im a bit of a spanner spass!) I got the upper fairing fitted by Chiswick Honda and I then did the lower fairing in my lunch break. The lower fairing was fairly straight forward to fit. The upper fairing looked a bit more tricky but I reckon I could have done it, given a free afternoon.

Cheers

Hi Biz,

Just noticed the wee list of bikes at the end of your message. Just wanted to know how the SV compares with the VTR??

The SV is a pretty amazing little machine. I've only ridden it on the track, so my opinions might be a little off if you're curious as to how she performs on the street. For me to compare it to my VTR is a little difficult though. As you can see, my VTR isn't exactly stock. Neither is my SV. My SV has a Penske rear shock, and a complete GSXR750 "upside down" front end, with six piston calipers with EBC iron rotors. Anyways, If you picture a VTR about 75 pounds lighter, and about 30 less horsepower, you've got yourself an SV! The low weight and horsepower would initially lead you to think that she's a bore. But the bike is so unintimidating, you'll find yourself doing things at speeds that you'd never consider doing on other bikes. I've never had a problem keeping up with anyone on the track, except for the most "balls out" riders on the tip-top machinery. The ergonomics of my VTR tend to fit me a smidge better then my SV though. But then again, Honda has a way with ergo's that few can match. The brakes on both bikes are amazing, as are the suspensions. But then again, nothing about the suspensions of either bike are stock.... So you can see my dilema when it comes to comparing my particular two bikes.

I like 'em both, but as far as a track weapon is concerned, especially if you're a track newbie, the SV is the way to go.
