I ran BT021's on my zx9r they were excellent slightly harder compound in the middle softer on the edges so they lasted slightly longer, the ones on my storm now are BT021's and in my opinion are still great tyres, shop around though cause the prices vary radically

Mike.

Never used avons before... What they like for agressive riding?

My mates running dunlop sportsmarts on his ktm 950, done a trackday at cadwell, 10 days tour of the
Pyrenees a few rides here and there and he rekons they will last him this year?

Don't like the price of the dunlops tho lol.

Tyre guy and ex storm owner recomended road Smarts. No complaints from me and have done consistantly well in magazine tests.

Concur with the RoadSmarts very good tyre. Had the same issues as FirestormMike with BT021's wearing in a strange way on the front. Even so just put another set back on coz they woz very well priced.

is the back end jacked up at all???? could be why if its jacked up with std rear shock with no real adjustments...
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

BT-023's, survived 5 weeks of 160 mile there and back commutes every weekend (ie 1600 miles bashing on the A34, M40 and M42, usually around the ton-up mark) Plus assorted scratching and tomfoolery - and they still look fresh. I will buy them again (I am a Bridgestone fan - many many sets of 010's then 014's on my ZX7R - that ate Tyres pmpl)

Just got an irritating slow leak on my front.....

BT023 are excellent sport touring tyres. I have them and cant rate them enough. They use them at Ron Haslams racing school bikes!

I had BT021 before and they were good but the BT023 is much better for wear and grip.

Thats my ten pence worth.
