Now, now boys & girls, why can't we all get along. One nation united under a shared flag, following the example of our joint national heroes and statesmen, Churchill, Blair, Rooney etc.
Now shut it you norvern monkees!!!!!!!!!! :D

As for the original post I don't think anyone will be surprised by your revelation Timbo. I think the general feeling on this forum is one of trust and unfortunately some are more than willing to take advantage.

Just got in and seen Timbo's message - Every word is true . I posted Jen a letter with my address and everything which was delivered Xmas Eve and I've received diddly squat back, money or my tank cover. Jen or her hubby last logged into the forum here on 27 Dec, so with every means available they clearly know what they have done wrong and the means they could take to rectify their dubious dealings but instead have chosen not to and run off with Tim's and my cash - so in Feb off to court we go...

For matters such as this are heard in Civil Courts they don't have galleries they are heard in private.

It is not actually a criminal offence to owe someone money ( it should be IMO ) and cases are heard the same way as divorces, house repos, custody hearings for children and things, they are in a private room with a district judge, the claimant, defendant and if represented solicitors.

Only criminal courts have public galleries.

Also if the case goes against them ( which it sounds like it will ) the court can only make an order for them to pay, they can't make them pay. If they don't pay you can order in the court bailiffs ( you will have to pay ) to claim property to the value. They can also claim hardship and offer you £1 per month which if the judge agrees you have to accept. If they are already in financial trouble they probably wont care about another CCJ.

Of course they may just settle at first sight of a court letter.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
