Re: my winter project
thanks didnt know if i would get a reaction to this bike . but here goes i bought the bike back in september and coming from a honda dealer it was a first class bike . but i wanted some different and decided to change it to white , so of came the panels and after buying a new carbonfibre mudgaurd bellypan undertray headlight protector , along with the rest headed to to paintshop . basecoat mercedes white all decals then laquered , meanwhile forks off for a rebuild new seals oil and ohlins springs , then purchased a maxton shock , next full set of wavy discs , oh the wheels were sent to the paintman as well , fitted the shock raising her 2 inches , next i bought the blue flame cans and hi-level link pipes from an sp1 , next a sprint steering damper , then 2 new racetec tyres by metzeler renthal gold rear sprocket renthal race hand grips r&g socks for resevoiors and this is what you see now . next will be short levers (in the post) tinted double bubble , any other hints would be grateful enjoy would sell now as an sp1 has come up from a friend and now i want that lol .
Re: my winter project
Very nice job lofty It's a pity you want to sell her after doing all this work in making your bike something special, a one off.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: my winter project
well if it does not sell on ebay and i dont get the sp1 then the frame is going black with the latest fireblade seat unit and decals the same as the new wsb honda , thanks again all for your views .

Re: my winter project
I personally think the frame suits the bodywork as it is. I wouldn't paint it black if it were minelofty690 wrote:well if it does not sell on ebay and i dont get the sp1 then the frame is going black with the latest fireblade seat unit and decals the same as the new wsb honda , thanks again all for your views .
