Tyres, such an emotive subject and people will never agree on whats best. Theres not really a bad tyre on the market nowdays. You either choose between mileage or hoonage!

Couldn't agree more.
The trouble is; you usually compare a knackered old set with brand new ones- new ones will always feel great once scrubbed, no matter what make. (punctures excepted)
And the magazine reviews are done by pro riders riding on tracks, maybe doesn't give as good a "real-world" indication as it might.
