Does the Vic do breakfast, cause I reckon they will be very busy Sat morning with us already there and others having to ride in Sat morning.

I was gonna take a tent with a little camping stove, bacon sarnies are easy.

Then a disposable BBQ for lunch, stuffed peppers for starters, and steaks for fillers.
You don't have to go far from the bar that way!

Vegans need not apply.

Yep Bazza, I'll come up on the Friday, definitely.
Shall we compile a sub-list for the "pre ride up meet up?"
For us lokals?

Hi Lads,

Just caught up with this thread and count me in as I only live up the road in Market Harborough.
BTW, I know some lovely local roads round here, where Bike and Performance Bike do their test rides if anyone fancies a run out over the weekend ?.

I've confirmed the dates with the venue, the Victoria biker's pub.
The are fine about people staying in their hall after the band/disco's finished, which means for those without tents all you'll need is a sleeping bag and a foam mat, both easily carried.
Oh, and some spare earplugs, apparently I snore!
They're also cool about tents, and for those who wish to there are hotels/B&B's nearby.
I'll ask for committed decisions nearer the time, so as to make sure they know how many to expect.
The band's confirmed for the Friday night, too, so worth travelling up on the Friday or in the evening.
Oh, and they say there's food available if you don't want to go off-site to eat.

Lastly, I've heard a rumour of a forum member who has their own mobile Dyno- now wouldn't that be an interesting thing to have along? :silent:

I'm not staying off anything- party on! :Woohoo: :Taz: :Woohoo1: :Smoke2: :Hungry: :Dancing: :Dancing1: :drunk: :Beer1: :Beer2: :fart1: :Coke:    :burp: :Cry2: :rolleyes4: :Sleep2:   :Sleep1: repeat.

Several people have mentioned bringing other bikes/friends.
I can't see any problem with that; as long as they kneel and worship at the wonder and miracle that is Storm, forsaking all others except for the ride home.
Respect due to the Vee, and all that.

(But a Harley might be a Hog roast too far :D :D )

And the ride-out isn't a race, or a competition for loudest, or best burnout.

BTW, Mark, yes, a couple of routes would be great; perhaps one for Saturday morning and one for Sunday morning? Best make the Sunday one a bit shorter.

You can bring a friend on a bike as long as she is female, cuse it's a hell of a job to get my missus in leather, and biker chicks come already wrapped in them.... :D

p.s. what happens on the ride stays on the ride....wink wink
