Essexbloke,
Err Wayne came over to my house err a couple of weeks ago to have a look at me VTR I built and we spent about 5 hours in the garage going through stuff, I can't shut up once I get started. Jen is my wife and was not too happy making cups of tea every 5 minutes for 5 hours. This was the weekend before he had his accident. I've been building it for about 3 years now, It was initially finished (rideable) in 2001 and I spent the summer getting all the engine/jetting running perrrrfect, then started finishing the other bits off. I'm still waiting for some stuff, but I'm used to that now. Will post some pickies soon.

well err, dunno just took for ever waiting for bits etc. It actually took about 2 months flatout initially then just did abit every chance I had. I've probably put in way over 1000 hours into it. Just made some carbon covers for under the seat unit (to keep water out) last week and they took three days 8 to 8. Every bracket is either made from carbon or alloy by hand. The hardest bit I ever did was a small piece for the dash to house 8 (i think leds, it was so thin it took 7 attempts to get it right without the carbon spliting and looking shite.
