are integrated tail lights mot legal
as title, cheers
Re: are integrated tail lights mot legal
'Fraid not. They're not ce marked. Indicators still have to be separate from the brake lights. Don't know how many MOT'ers would know for sure though...
Re: are integrated tail lights mot legal
My understanding of the law on indicators , Was if the bike was manufactured
with indicators you have to have them fitted... Earlier bikes made without them
still don't...

Like Timbo,i thought if they were fitted, they had to work ,but if not fitted ,not a problem.

i knew it had to be a moped 50cc/30mph!!!
now that i think of it, it says first used before 1986 but the base model of the peugeot ludix 50cc scooter doesnt have indicators and only started production a few years ago. thats the only bike ive ever seen for sale with no indicators all other scooters have them that ive seen

Just have both.
As you have some in the rear light you can get away with teeny ones as outriggers, at least, that's what I've done and it sails through MOT's, except for the blown bulbs, knackered bearings and bits tied on with string, obviously.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
