what colour

Post by tonyb »

ok so im planning to respray the storm as its the only thing that lets the bike down (has a few small cracks and its got metal flake in it), was thinking of keepin it a simular colour as you don't see any other storms in this colour but while its havin a full respray should i change the colour or not? can get the wheels powder coated for £30 so wheel colours not a problem what do you think?

Like the colour it is now to be honest, great looking bike.

Looks good as it is bud, if you are going to change the colour i would go for something bright.
Red (the fastest colour) 98 Storm, APE CCT's ART Titanium high level cans, Airblade smoked double bubble screen and the shopping list is still growing!

+1 Very much the colour and style as is. Looks like it could be a factory model which must be confusing to ID - beats, to my eye, custom styling with glaring anodised fittings etc.

Still it's your bike to do with what you will....

ummmmmmmmmmm i love the grey and the bike looked well sweet in the pictures on ebay, depends how far you want to go with the paint, if it's gona ber a plain colour then leave it alone, getting rid of the metal flake means either bladdering it in high build primer or sanding it all down to bare plastic, metal and starting again. mayb, beens the bike is so special and unique then the paint job should match the nature of the bike, it's not a race bike so race rep colours don't really work on half faired road tourer bike, in my opinion.

make sure you choose wisely but i like the grey, it's my favourite colour lol.

mayb some of the candy coloiurs avalible would look nice, what colour does the log book say?
