Yep!
I'm sure it is, now measure the thread and I think you might find it has a 12 mm bore

Rince, just go into a bike shop and ask for 2 DPR9EIX-9 plugs and a spanner to fit it.

Honestly 8O It's a good job you don't play with guns

Spark plugs are 18mm -- I just changed them and still have the old ones around so I could measure them.
Also I can confirm you need to remove the metal thingy from the ending opposite the electrode.
If you use Iridium plugs you should not need to check the gap; if you really want to check it you need to use a wire tool (the usual blade type might damage the electrode).
Finally, make sure you follow Ben's advice: make sure you turn the spark with your fingers almost all the way. I learnt this the hard way -- on my father's old car :)

right, i'm offically waving the white flag at this

I've bought a 18ml deep reach socket, as 18mlspark plug sockets seem akin to rocking horse poo

however, the diameter is too big to fit into the shaft to reach the plug (story of my life... )

so i bought a spark plug bar type thingy as recommended by my local bike shop, to fecking short, (perhaps more acurrately the story of my life),to get anything on to turn it

is my only option now to take it to the bike shop and let them do it??

You're looking for a 18mm "thin wall" socket:
