Thanks Tony, Yes I assumed it was the 2 smaller diameter pipes from the carbs through the carb frame people were referring to.
There is no loom anywhere for the TPS....There isn't much loom at all on this bike.

None of the coolant pipes are connected except a short one that runs from front to back.

Then the coolant pipes have been removed, there will be a link between the water pump and the thermostat housing instead.
It's no problem, these don't suffer from carb icing much anyway.

I'd leave it as is.

Will do

I'm going to order some float valves from Allens Performance tomorrow, Honda want £24 each! :eek2
The front pilot jet was a bit dirty, but apart from that I haven't found any real reason for the front carb overflowing occasionally.

I don't know why it has a 180 main, when she runs right, she seems to run well, so I hope the rough running is related to float sticking :confused

180 isn't much larger, so probably jetted for cans. Is the other carbs jet also one size up?

Yes, both mains and pilots exactly the same. I didn't look at the emulsion tubes to ensure they're the correct way round!

I’m assuming that the rear cylinder runs hotter, and needs jetting accordingly?
Should it be slightly bigger?

I will look at the plugs, I’m fitting the MCCTS this week so will have a look then.

Just spoke with Allens Performance, they don't know what float valve I need - they have no means of cross referencing the the Honda part no. to Keihin part no!!

I will email them some pics tonight with my vernier attacheched for dimensions - unless anyone knows what the Kehin part number is?

Usually the rear is one size larger mains.

Until you start tuning the engine, airbox and cans with a filter, then the Mains need to be smaller.
But then you'd need to dyno it to know what sizes to fit.

It has got cans on & K&N. No idea about airbox mods, it ‘looks’ standard to me, but I haven’t actually seen standard to know what I’m looking at!

One size up on both is a good starting point.

I Had a very quick look at the bike, I think I have found a socket taped up that MAY be to plug into the TPS!! Whether it’ll work or not I don’t know. Another mate who’s a bit more elec orientated than me seems to think that the bike will only be running on 1 map!

Also, can anyone tell me what the tubes are for just bellow the carb mounts on each head? :confused

Yes, if you mean the small lines that connect below the intake, those are the vacuum take-offs.
One should go to the fuel tap on the tank, the other should be blanked off.
Alternatively, they can be tee'd together, then go to the fuel tap.
If the tps is not connected then the ignition advance runs on a fixed map, if its connected it runs a pre-programmed set of maps that vary depending on the throttle position.
