spec for Indicator warning bulbs

Post by AMCQ46 »

I tried a search, but couldn't narrow it down, so I will try the lazy way and ask.

can anybody tell me the spec for the indicator repeater bulbs that fit in the speedo housing? and even better what is the brightest LED option that will fit?

Franks just checked, no green or white leds but he's gonna send you some red & blue ones to have a play with...

Take the holder out, replace the bulb & try it before you put the holder back in...If it dosent work, take LED out turn 180* & try again...

Will post today if I can be arsed to walk to the shop again if not they will be in post tomorrow...

Ahemm... Nice Firestorm Al...

I don't class written communication as "speaking to me". if he gives me a call I will respond accordingly :Ball Kick:

Oh BTW in the post as I had to back to the PO anyway as someone needed something posting to them as THEY had paid good money for it...

So enjoy your free bulbs, however they may be a bit flat... The post person put me package in her slot & it was touch & go (copyright Mr T.Mons esq) as wether it would be small parcle or letter post... or in wallet busting language £2.80 V's 97p...

As a tight fisted wallet hugger like your good self Al, oh nice Firestorm btw, I squashed the package down & it wen't nicley through her slot, no lube nothing...

Hope you can make use of them in your FIRESTORM.

The red ones work well on the tacho but dont do much on the speedo.

From expirence dont put one in the hi beam light...at night it's far to bright kind of ruins your night vision.

used the blue ones in the indi slots and they overpower the green lense to look Jerez blue, but much brighter so should see them blinking easy in daylight.
