I don't know enough about clutches to know if that appearance is normal for plates which have had some use.

But if not, then it would be worth trying to work out why that wear is occurring before you install the new plates.

New defective discs I've installed (third from top) came from a new "training" engine and, maybe, someone performed a modification I don't remember on them......so they don't work properly.....
