Rear swingarm paint

Post by BrianC »

Is the swingarm usually painted?

And If so what paint do people use?

I have a spare swingarm so might get it blasted and coated?

Nope! Factory brushed alloy! But I painted and lacquered mine as they always seem to look different to the upper frame and that bugged the life out of me! Tried all ways to replicate the factory finish but couldn't!

If you use paddock stands the paint will scratch and chip .
Same with powder coat .
Polishing is what I'd do next time
