Will a Hornet ohlins shock fit?

Just wondered as im looking at a 600 Hornet with ohlins rear shock. Thanks

Obviously i mean, will it fit a vtr!

from what I've read, no, the vtr shock is a bit longer.

Just FYI, the VTR shock is unusually long, so that pretty much applies to any other models too...

I've not come across any bikes for a direct swap of the shock for the Firestorm either. As already been said the standard Storm shock is unusually long at 345mm from mounting eye to eye centers,

No, well not easily. You may be able to get it adapted to fit but then you will need the valving re-done. In the end It would be better off just getting the right on to start with.
