The Norton, built in the UK, was shipped to a customer in Belgium in 1977
The buyer never unpacked it before selling it to a collector who took it to Spain
The vintage motorcycle has remained in its storage box for its entire life, making its availability in a sale in November a unique opportunity for bike collector
The 850 Interstate is one of the final examples of the original Norton Commando
It has an 828cc parallel-twin engine, 4-speed gearbox and a top speed of 115
Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.

I'm wondering if Stuart Garner might stake a claim on it as 'unaccounted for stock'.

That's supposedly one of several, a dozen maybe. The Belgian importer at the time ordered them, apparently went out of business and then stored them for 35 years.. All the rubber and seals will need replacing, if its going to be run and if it is the value will fall a lot. Crazy really but great for someone doing a restoration who wants to totally get the cable runs etc correct.. 😁
