Front end refresh and Delete kit

Post by TaxiDriver »

Had a tidy up of the front end with resprayed legs, stainless bolts and pins and caliper mounting bolts nickel plated.....

Then fitted a rear brake reservoir delete kit,for something so simple, what a wombling faff, especially the clips.....

That front end looks really good! I've not seen a reservoir delete kit before (very sheltered life..!), again, looks very tidy 👍
Insufferable halfwit.

There's a reasonably priced HRC kit available for the rear res.
Just remember to schedule an annual fluid change.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi Taxi,

Forks look very good. What did you use?

Mine are a mess, as you can see on the picture. The rest isn't bad at all.

I just need to sort the forks out pal..

Cheers

I did mine recently, stripped off what I could of the previous crap paint job and used some etching primer (2 or 3 coats should do) and then finish off with a decent paint.
I used simoniz 5 wheel paint.

Is this the delete kit used above?
