Maxx high rise pipes

Post by Aussie storm »

So I have these maxx high rise carbon pipes on my new vtr. I’ve been searching the innerwebs for information on them and can’t find anything unfortunately. Has anyone heard of them before? Do the header pipes look like the standard pipes?

I thought that, but the link pipe to can part is completely different.
The MIG's are a 100mm diameter carbon or alloy sleeve, but on the carbon version its very thick, around 3mm, which helps to resist the heat and pulses.
They were made in France.

Dont know about Maxx, not heard of them in the UK.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I have heard of Maxx,

I think they are Aussie like us and now out of business.

I am pretty sure that they were based in Melbourne.

The headers are defo standard , it's the link pipes that are interesting.

I would love to get a template for them and make them bigger diameter.

Can you post some pics of the mounting brackets?

I like the angle , reminiscent of Staintunes high mount effort.

Thanks mate,

I currently have a shotgun system fitted to my bike however I much prefer the high one can per side look.

Here is how it was after 3 different systems. Standard headers and projection racing high rise mounts.

Here is how it is now and has been for about 2 1/2 years

I much prefer the high rise look.

I will have to get a new rear header pipe made however I think it would be worth it in the long run.

Cheers and good luck with the Kreigers,

I have had them for about 8 years now and have only adjusted them twice in 70,000 Klms. Good bit of kit they are.
