P548 KDU Red Storm

Post by Duffy1964 »

Hi All have any of you owned or know anything about this Storm?

I’m picking it up tonight and was wondering if any of you knew it’s history.
It has fixable crash damage and has had manual cct’s fitted at some point.
Done a mot history on it and seems genuine enough and only has 22k on the clock.

Cheers Duffy

The guy gave me rhs hanger, clip ion bars, screen, mirrors I have straightens the gear lever and soft cheese fairing brace and tweaked a few bits.

I have ordered a rhs red fairing from Ebay but rear tail piece has snapped rear light fixings

So if Frank has a good red one I’m interested if not I will try araldite and see if that holds.

If by that you mean the brake pedal...the one on Custurd got bent like that in the last 'spill' I looked at straightening it out...It was cracked ! So went in the bin...Have a very good look at it to make sure thate is no cracking... 8O

I had it fitted to Custurd for a bit but I 've since repaired the light mount on the Yella one & put it back...

IIRC one of the front mount hoels is toast & at the rear it was held on with zip ties as both rear top holes shagged...Having said that you cant see the bodge when the saddles on...

As said yours if you want it FOC...come & get it...I'll make sure Frank is looking the other way...

if Mac's trail is not attractive; I also have one that fits and works and the light mountings are good, but the top fixings need large washers to fit- as you say, not visible with the seat on. Mine's in early yellow.
FOC.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Thanks Tony, I appreciate the offerImage I will take Mac up on his offer of the slow red one as it matches the rest of the bike. Image
