Dunno what the fuss is about, there's a perfectly good set of male bullet connectors available there, and if you ask nicely, a free rubber band throw in......

Stretching it a bit with the damage to the fuel tank :crazy:

Anyway someone has bought it for £970,

New tubes £200 ish
Bushes top and bottom £50 ish
fork springs of choice £75 ish
fork oil £15
Total £370
you get a sorted pair of forks like new with better springs, if you have some paint lying around they'll look like new too.
Rechroming is not much less than new tubes and last time I had some done it was an 8 week turnaround.

Or you can just see it as a pair of bottoms and relatively good adjusters for €30??? Yes I know the BIN is £50.
