More carbon

Post by mik_str »

I have been running Renthal Ultra Lows on my bike for a couple years now, having all but given up at the prospect of finding a set of carbon bars (in 7/8" diameter, as they are seemingly all "fat bars", ie. 1 1/8" diameter). Well, lo and behold, I stumbled across a set of bars made by ABM yesterday that have... wait for it... carbon!!!! Yessir, more carbon on my baby, lol

Not necessary, but a small b-day present to myself....

Don't knock the Carbon...there's nothing wrong with Carbon.

As they say in the movies, that's a wrap

Make sure they are well made and up to scratch as seen some horrendous accidents on uk tv consumer shows and interweb caused by cheap Chinese bicycle handlebars.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

it's basically a carbon wrap around a normal aluminum handlebar, but it helps to complement the bike's carbon theme...

in due course... have to wait for the bars (indeed for the bike), to turn up first...
