yessir... 2500 km, with a list of add-ons to blow your mind (including BST rims... ). One could almost get the bike for free just by stripping the stuff off and selling it...
always wanted to sample the prodigious mid-range of this engine....

Re: Lead me not into tempation
Certainly a lot of bike for the money with lots of expensive add ons.. But reading through the add makes me laugh, every one who try's to sell a K5/6 goes on about how they are lighter and as powerful as newer models and the torque is better.. It's crap, every model after the K6 was an improvement. Yes they had to put a big cat box on the 07-2011 models but put a cheap to buy decat pipe on and they run great with no fueling mods and have all the midrange of the K5 at least, they also handle better and have better components. the 2012-15 model is even better and the best of the GSXR1000's (before the completely new 16 model) torque is strong even with the cat fitted, you can't remove it so easy but you don't need to, top end is better and the motor spins up loads faster.. I don't think this seller needs to go on about how his model was the best to sell it, it really wasn't but it is still a fantastic bike and not a great deal behind later bikes, they still feel modern.
I've owned 4 GSXR1000's since 2005 so I'm talking from experience, shame your in Canada as I'd try to sell you my Millionth edition 2013 ZL3

Re: Lead me not into tempation
he did lay it on a bit thick with the K5/K6 nostalgia and reverence, but all that is irrelevant; what is, however, is the price, low mileage and list of mods (wheels and exhaust alone cost what he is asking of the bike)... the fact that he didn't mention the BST rims (the most expensive single component on the bike) tells me the "owner" doesn't know much about bikes...

Re: Lead me not into tempation
the immediate wave of temptation has passed but rest assured if I had that money sitting around to play with that bike would be in my garage... killer deal for someone

Re: Lead me not into tempation
Bloody lovely, would love to have that in the garage, I did have a 1999 Hayabusa that had done around the same mileage as that and in the same condition, sold it a couple of years ago to fund the RD500, would love that back again as well but I was having more riding fun on an old knackered GSXR600 I ran alongside it.
