Air fillter
Is it worth getting a K&N air filter or stay with a standard type
Re: Air fillter
Stick with standard.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Air fillter
Disagree, a k and n or bmc is fine if you jet it to suit, as you should if you change cans to freer flowing ones.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Air fillter
I had trouble with a k&n when I bought the bike....changed to a standard

Re: Air fillter
I could never get rid of the dip at 5000rpm with the K&N filter, but using a BMC street filter [bit less freeflow than the race, but higher flow than stock] and I have managed to smooth it out nicely..
The storm is sensitive to filter and airbox changes and hence it may be less hassle to stay with the stock one
