Rear disc bolts seized any ideas
As above really,2 of the rear disc bolts are solid, would heating them with a pencil torch help to free them?
Not sure if it is thread lock or corrosion, any help gladly welcomed....

Heat the casting up around the bolt area with a blow lamp.

Heat em sufficiently to soften any previously applied threadlock.

Shock them, put an Allen socket in the hole & tw@ it.
If you've not got one place an old 1/2 drive with a 13mm'ish socket or similar on an extension & tw@ it.
Just make sure you don't damage the Allen head on the bolt or miss & tw@ the disc

They come from the OEM thread locked , and any decent mechanic would thread lock replacements..
Heat the screw up to about 200 Deg C and it will soften the anaerobic thread lock, using an impact driver or gun and a high quality hex bit will help as well

I like it......
Re: Rear disc bolts seized any ideas
I replaced the rear disc on my 28 year old ST1100, and the bolts were tough little buggers. Thankfully I have an electric impact gun, bought 2 years ago and only used 3 times, but each time has been a "hallelujah" moment. I'm sure if I just gave the disc bolts a big heave-ho with a long breaker bar, the allen heads would just round out. The impact gun shocks them loose with no damage (touches wood...).
