Rear Brake Caliper Seals
Hi all, Does anyone know if the rear calliper seals only go in one way, I am sure I read somewhere the was a schamfer on the larger seal but I can't see it, Thanks in advance

Has I remember correctly, yes they go in one way, just check how the old ones are fitted when you take them out, usually hydrolic seals have a v in them on the inside so the seal is forced out when pressure is applied, more pressure, more seal.

Took the old ones out Kevin before looking at them properly, I can't see any difference no matter which way I look at the seal
Re: Rear Brake Caliper Seals
They could be symmetrical, but usually the seal effectively springs back a little pulling the pad slightly back from the disc surface to avoid pad glazing.
The normal custom is that the printed information such as a seal size and code number is on the external face. Same with bearings.
If there are markings that might give it away.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
