The time has come..

Post by mattster »

Time for the storm to go! :(

Been a hard decision, but it's had a good 7 year run. Work/family commitments recently have resulted in ever decreasing amounts of time available to get out for a ride, so it's hardly turned a wheel this year. Having test ridden a few shinier bikes this year, I've decided there's a need to get out and try some other bikes while I can..

So, this weekend resulted in a 765 mile round trip to collect a 2013 Speed Triple :D

Will stick up some pictures once I've found a replacement to Photobucket...

Unfortunately I'll be up north this weekend! One of the family commitments that I mentioned...

Have a great time this weekend - watch out for some of the potholes around the Galloway Forest, they've grown a bit in the past year..

Couple hundred miles in, it's a decent bike... very quick, comfortable and decent on fuel... the biggest difference over the storm though (well, mine anyway!) are the brakes - very very very capable. :eek2

Decided not to be so hasty in selling the storm, it's been pushed to the quiet side of the garage and covered with a duvet. With any luck the wife won't notice :whatever
