dyno run

Post by robertisinoz »

Thought I take my bike for a dyno today just to see how it is before I piss about with it and probably rock it up.
Its a 2002 and has standard carb settings, Staintune exhaust, CBR 600 stick coils the pair system removed a lightened flywheel and 98,000 kms on the clock
max power was 91.8hp at 8800 revs
max torque was 62ft-lbs at 7000 revs
it went a bit lean between 3500 4500 revs about 14
and a bit rich between 5000 6000 revs about 12.2 and a slight dip in torque about 4 ft-lbs at them revs

Im happy with the way it runs but love to tinker with things might try and see if i can remove the dip in torque
any comments and suggestions welcome.

Down a little on power ! Unless the dyno is set low !
It should be pulling around 100 bhp mark but then again it's the later model

I agree lloydie, down a bit on power, late model bikes are a few horses less than the early models, because of the added emissions kit. which can easily be disconnected lol
I reckon it should be around the high 90's early 100's.
but as long as you're happy buddy....

put a Tiger 1200 engine in it ( maybe not the slave cylinder though, I got in there before Tony did  )
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
