We accept things can and do sometimes go wrong in motorcycle racing, however it comes as rather a shock to hear this has happened on a bike with no engine.
I see in the link what was reported yesterday is not what had happened according to his Dad.

I Nicky him all the very best in his recovery, and for the best possible outcome,
