Using hairspray is an old art student trick for fixing drawings esp pastels instead of more expensive specialised arty spray fixatives. Both hairspray and fixative contains gum arabic glue / binder.

Wine also works, but you need something thicker on the left one, like Port.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I've not fitted them yet waiting for the SV650 bars to turn up.

from an old duffer's perspective,I would say that for the money,heated grips are a sound investment,I've had 'em on every bike I've owned in the last 5 years,can't live without 'em now,fitted a pair to the new Fire engine as a priority !

was out after dark the other night when the temp dropped a tad,soooo glad I'd fitted the oxfords.

PS. massive help with the old Arthritis in the thumb joints :D
