& that isn't ?

Hmmm not my cuppa cha Paul but if it suits your needs then all good...I have heard that Triumpfffs servicing costs are a bit steep...is it new ?

Also don't know if that has one but some of them have plastic tanks, they no likey ethanol in the new fangeled fuels make the tanks swell up...

Dunno how much you got px for the old one, but it looks like you were only one "accidentally loose" sidestand bolt away from an insurance claim in this one:

One of my customers has one of those, he took it to a Triumph dealer for the valve clearance service as it's under warranty. he was shocked at just under £1000 for the service 8O

And there's me thinking you were going to stick with Honda http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 71#p443971
I can see how you didn't re the ABS light saga, very poor show from Honda that.

My brother used to own one of those Triumphs, he had his from new. Do you like the way the panniers pivot on banking :?:

I hope you have some good fun with your new bike Paul
The three cylinders sound lovely,

its £500 for the big service every 10,000 i can do the oil and bits in between and the guy i bought it from works for Triumph and will do the big service in 10,000 miles. For £250 ,so all ok with that.

Valve clearances were checked at 10,000, next due at 30,000 so every 20,000 i can live with a large bill every 2 years etc. My mates gonna do them anyway.
