The bone graft from your hip will hurt far more than your shoulder. Stay in hospital for a couple of days. Morphine is your friend. Good luck!!!!!

All the best in there Mac.
Keep your hands off the nurses, they tend to be able to look after themselves and have evil minds on payback.

right, now where's my bag of fly's to go distract Frank whilst I get into that Cave......
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

I'm glad to hear they are going to fix things up for you Mac. Stock up on bike dvd's and rest up. Take it easy mate. Just think if your lucky all those lovely pharma's will help you sleep through most of the rehabilitation while things heal. As you will most likely be a bit spaced out maybe some rainbow and magical mystery dvd's will be more appropriate.

Home @ 20.10...left this morn @ 06.30, so been a long day.

No extra cuts for a bone graft needed, apparently they used the new bone that had grown around the snap.

Shoulders a bit sore, staples not stiches apparently.

Image

Real sore throat from the tube I had in, coudn't swallow the sandwij they gave me...best i could manage was jelly & ice cream...

Image

Got discarged @ 19.00, was waiting out side for me ride, & couple walked by having just left A&E... he asked her for 'the baccy..' & promptly fell over having a full on fit!

Not a lot I could do apart from go & get some help organised... in the end there must of been 12 people there even an ambo...

I like the 'this way up' arrow on your shoulder in case the Doc mistook your butt for your face and lobbed a knacker off! Maybe a suggestion from the Midlands! Just saying......

And there was me thinking that was some kind of demonish symbol. That's standard practise now to mark where the OP is going. Even doctors can get their left and right mixed up. I guess it depends on which end of the body they stand.
