Fuel cap hong kong

Anyone bought one of these ?, wondered if they're any good.

Bought this one...Or one like it for a VTR of course...

Saves faffing around with the key but...The opening on this one isn't very big, yes the fuel nozzle fits fine but you cant see into the tank unlike with the standard one.

Also you have to find somewhere to leave the cap of course...& then not forget it... :lol:

Other than that it's fine...

The one you linked to Malc is a bit cheaper but I suspect they are probably made in the same Chinese factory by underpaid children...

They're only a bit more and posted from the uk so could be cheaper in the end.. I take it they seal ok then ?, I like the red anodised part on the hong kong one, will have to message these lot see if they do the same, cheers.

Yeah seals fine no issues there.

Be a bit weary of the Chinky anodising, tends to fade easy in sunlight...you end up with pink bits...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

I've got one. It's better than the standard cap if your not bothered about locking it. They are a lighter as well so if your on a weight saving mission you'd save a surprising amount.

Only thing I found was the seal was crap. Luckily I found a crank seal which was the right id and it does the job.

I painted the bolts black but I haven't got a picture with that done.
