Rear brake push rod clevis

Post by Mav617 »

Hi,

The clevis on the end of my TRX rear brake push rod is rotten, anyone know where I can try and source a replacement without paying Yamaha prices. Ideally a stainless one like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-STAINLESS-S ... 3a4a2e30c3
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Does the TRX one unscrew?
You'll need to match the thread if so.
Otherwise, what about a breaker for a complete unit?
They'll never get damaged in a crash, so they should have a few on the shelf.

Or just buy this one:

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Ask Mr GSLR nicely and for a fee he might make one out of ti for you, if you had the correct dimensions for him.
