Gilles Variobar Adjustable Clip-Ons
Gilles Variobar Adjustable Clip-Ons
I have been asking around for late model clip ons for the storm as I find the long journeys shag my wrist on my early storm, but doing some checking on the net for these later clip ons came up with these.
Just wondering if anyone has tried them etc, and any possible advantages/ dis advantages other than the price tag.

Not old enough for upright bars, just want to change the angle of the existing handle bars, and the sketch of the alteration to the 19lt tank model looks like an improvement.

Re: Gilles Variobar Adjustable Clip-Ons
do a search for bar risers mate, iirc the storm is 41mm fork tube, there should be a few options out there , I've had danmoto bar risers in the past, I would not recommend them....
checkout woodcraft!!!!!!
checkout woodcraft!!!!!!
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Gilles Variobar Adjustable Clip-Ons
I have looked at them and they are only touring style clip ons and are fixed(£150), the Gilles are fully adjustable(£225).agentpineapple wrote:do a search for bar risers mate, iirc the storm is 41mm fork tube, there should be a few options out there , I've had danmoto bar risers in the past, I would not recommend them....

I have Paolo Tarozzi high rise, if you accept sturdy look, they are fine.

they look nice, and if I don't want to have that high I could always mount them underneath the top yoke.Stephan wrote:I have Paolo Tarozzi high rise, if you accept sturdy look, they are fine.

A few people have fitted VFR bars haven't they? Will need to trim fairing a bit, iirc.

I have a pair in my garage somewhere I plan on keeping them but your welcome to try them out to see if they fit without cutting fairings and check they are comfy enough to ride with before you spend your hard earned cash on some Bazza

I think there are two more options for height of rise, these are the biggest.bazza696 wrote:they look nice, and if I don't want to have that high I could always mount them underneath the top yoke.Stephan wrote:I have Paolo Tarozzi high rise, if you accept sturdy look, they are fine.
