Returning to the fold...maybe?

Post by twintin »

Hi Folks
its been a fair few years since i've been on here, round about 7 yrs since the storm and i parted ways :( In between times ive had a z750 (written off in a hit and run) and an 05 blade sold through lack of use. For the last 2 years ive been thinking of getting back on 2 wheels and have a yearning to go back to V twin loveliness. The problem i have is due to being made redundant and loads of other vehicles that need to be kept on the road i'm on a strictly limited budget of £1k. Not a lot i know. My question is can i get hold of another storm for a grand? not bothered if it looks a bit tatty as long as it runs ok. Any input appreciated.
Cheers Guys
Mark

welcome back ..... maybe!

you should find something at the end of the season at that kind of price, might not be pretty, but will still be fun

Welcome, I rekkon a grand would get you something. Just wait it out until the right one comes along with as little work to be done on t as possible. CCT failed bikes would be a good way to go as long as it's only head work required.
