A big wow...I really like that. Wish I had them skills and facilities and the jig is a rather clever way of going about it. Mmmm I'm dreaming of a Titanium twin exhaust version :biggrin I hope he posts a dyno result for it. Be good to see how it performs.

Thanks or posting that Mik.

Nice jig; I went about it a different way and have used a spare frame and bolted on all of the scrap parts laying around- bent forks, empty engine cases, damaged heads etc- but it gives all the datum points in the correct places and means that you'll miss the sump, alt and clutch cases etc.

All I have to do is borrow a welder and re-develop my skills- it's years since I last used a TIG.

But if anyone's got one for a lend, I will build a spare one for the cost of materials when I do mine.

Although 2" mandrel bends are easy to get and quite cheap, a fella I was talking to a week or so back reckoned you'd lose less torque by using 48mm tube- it's still up on standard.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Aftermarket headers are a real problem to get for these bikes unless they come as part of a full system or you get lucky. IIRC one of the bike parts sales companies over here (cant remember who know) used to sell stainless OEM style headers (copies), but they have stopped manufacturing them now. :(

The way this guy has made his custom exhaust reminds me a little of the Ladybird system.
